We choose hard cane because it makes reeds lasts longer, and gives them more sound projection. We gouge our own cane from a trusted source and use only the best cane for our reeds. We’ve discovered a way to make a stable and beautiful sounding reed consistently with the utmost attention to tone quality, intonation, and response.
