My lessons are goal-focused and will make you a better player in no time. I will offer encouragement and praise, and over time guide you toward correct technique and execution of the music. You don't need to get it right on the first try!
I have multiple degrees and awards and have served as principal oboe for nearly every ensemble I've played in. So you can be assured I have the experience you need to practice and perform better.
We'll also get into concepts like warming up properly, active listening, breath support, phrasing and style, as well as walking through etudes and studies to improve technique. Overall, I think music should be fun and enriching, and I will offer encouragement every step of the way to help you become a better player and musician! Let's get started!
